Description

This special exhibit, "Watched by Sound and Sea: Occupation of Beaufort, 1862," is on display Sept. 24, 2011, through September 2012. The free exhibit features artifacts from the "Modern Greece," weaponry, information about life on the home front during the Civil War, and interactive displays.

The museum is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays and 1-5 p.m. on Sundays (except for closing on three major holidays).
