NC Civil War 150 Calendar

The statewide traveling photo exhibit "Freedom, Sacrifice, Memory" is on display in the Davie County Public Library in Mocksville July 2-29.
The photographs are from divisions within the N. C. Department of Cultural Resources, including documents and images from the State Archives (www.archives.ncdcr.gov), images from the N.C. Museum of History (www.nchistorymuseum.com) and images from Civil War-related State Historic Sites (www.nchistoricsites.org).
The exhibit is touring the state through the spring of 2013. It was arranged by the State Library (http://statelibrary.ncdcr.gov/index.html), which is also part of Cultural Resources. 
For more information on the libraries' daily schedules call 336-753-6030. It is closed on Sunday mornings and all day July 4, and has shorter hours on Saturdays.
